Builders for Christ is an organized group of churches that come together every summer to do mission work constructing church facilities for existing Christian congregations that are actively telling their communities about the saving grace of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
Builders for Christ (BFC) first came to Valley Baptist Church in 1994. Yes, almost 26 years ago!
Now Builders for Christ (BFC) once again unites with Valley Baptist Church (VBC) to construct a new church building to serve the Appleton, Wisconsin Community.
The BFC/VBC Partnership next summer will enable Valley Baptist Church to reach the lost and provide a place for the people of Appleton, Wisconsin to know God’s love for them.
BFC remains committed to work with Valley Baptist Church in Appleton, Wi to build their new their new building beginning May 17, 2021.
BFC South will join Chilton Baptist Builders to construct an 8,000 sq.ft. addition to Fruitland Community Church in Jackson, Missouri. This is an expansion to the building Chilton Baptist Builders constructed for Fruitland built in 2001.
Since completion, they have baptized 250, given over $1,000,000 to missions, and given $463,000 to the Cooperative
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic BFC Missionaries will not participate in the Fruitland Community Mission Project until 2021.
Journey Church (formerly First Baptist Church) is located in a small, wonderful town in northwest Wisconsin. Journey is
a vibrant congregation. Their Gathering Space is smaller than needed. The 2,400 sq.ft. addition will allow the Senior Adults and Nursery to be on the main floor. This project will include internally expanding their sanctuary by removing three rooms, yielding space for their growing Worship Ministries. The area of that internal expansion is about 1,400 sq.ft.
The project is nearing completion and the Dedication and Open House was on October 11, 2020. Please see the Journey Project Page for Details.
